Long enough (when using two) to cover the edges and no gap in the middle. Thick material prevents any glow thru. No wrinkles and billows perfect. Long enough to look great from inside too. I love these, especially for the price. I got them so my old dog doesn't bark at every leaf outside. They do the trick. They let in lots of light but provide privacy during the day. You can't see in or out. I have not tested them out for privacy at night.
