Exactly as described! Read the manufacturer description—It truly is like a pop-up tent! So make room when first opening the package. For description purposes & to assist others in making a determination if this tree cover will work for them, I will describe my tree…My tree came with all the trimmings hard wired on, so there was no way I could remove the ornaments. My tree is a pre-lit 7 foot narrow tree permanently mounted to a rolling platform. Remove the tree topper! Two of us were able to very quickly put the tree cover on our Christmas tree and roll it into a corner. It did not take up a lot of space as you can see in the photo. Easy Peezy! I will say I question if this will cover a tree up to 9 feet. I don’t think so—especially when you are covering a fully assembled & decorated tree. It certainly is perfect for a 7-7.5 foot tree. This is a great tree cover. My tree is a little taller than the cover, but it fits all the way around and will do the trick keeping the dust off in the attic. Really pleased with this cover; description in listing is accurate. Recommend

If the zipper went all the way to the top and bottom - this would have been 100% better. It is way too hard to manage trying to get to over the tree and not drag the branches down. Also for a whole tree to be in this bag - the weight was too cumbersome - needs wheels . . . sorry. My fault. SHould have realized those things. ... show more

This Christmas tree storage bag makes storage quick and easy enough, as long as you have room to store your tree upright. It arrives in a little circle bag, so it looks pretty small. I wasn't expecting it to pop open on me as soon as I pulled it out of that bag, so be prepared for that! It functions very much like any typical pop up tent. It immediately pops into a long and flat shape and once you pull the sides out it can actually stand like a tent. I went ahead and tried it on my currently decorated tree and it was easy enough to do. One side has a zipper that will go up most of the way. It goes to the top of the tent part, but there is a pointy tip on the very top that doesn't unzip. You lift the tree bag over the tree and can zip it up that way. There are buckles to secure a tighter closure and drawstrings to pull around the bottom of the tree. My tree is looking a little rough this year after years of disassembling it to put it in a bag, so I am hoping this will be a better solution in the future. The bag itself is very sturdy and made from thick material. I imagine it will be very durable and hold up to a lot of abuse. It should keep your tree clean, dry and protected all year. In theory, when not in use you can fold it back up into the small storage bag it came with, but I am never very successful at that. I think this seems like it will be a good, quick and easy storage option. ... show more

The item comes in a small bag, so don't be deceived about the size. As soon as you open the bag, the tree bag pops out so don't get hit in the face. Sadly, even though advertised as fitting a 9 foot tree, it did not even fit our 7.5 with the same diameter as the tree bag, allegedly. Unless your tree is a slim tree and smaller than 7.5, I don't see you putting this bag over/around it, let alone by yourself. The material seems strong, but I could already see the stitching coming undone in some areas. The zipper is poorly placed. Why why why would you only do the zipper to go half way up the tree bag VS going to the top of the tree bag to ensure easy installation!? Or why would you only do one zipper vs a zipper on each panel/side? I'll be putting my tree in its original box until I find a replacement bag that fits the bill. ... show more

I am slightly embarrassed to admit that my tree is still up... I have this item and I tried it out without the tree and it is very sturdy and looks like it will last for years. In the past I just had the thin plastic that went over the tree which is basically just a dust cover. This will actually help protect the tree while in storage. ... show more
