Product Reviewed: Upgrade 4.10/3.50-4 Rubber Tire and Wheel, with 2.25" Offset Hub, 5/8" Sealed Bearings 1 pair for $24 TL;DR; Shielded Bearings (not sealed) ; Smooth running; pneumatic tires ; offset hub for flush mounting. These look to be a nicer tire - more traditional than others we have reviewed. The bearings don’t look sealed but are smoother than the other wheels we have reviewed. I’d call these shielded bearings. No formal lubrication system but at least you can squirt oil on these ones. The rim and hub appear to be powder coated steel. The hub is offset so the rim can be mounted flush and the rim/tire wall will clear the surface. Bearing ID looks OK for 5/8” CR axle. Although the bearings don’t match the description I think shielded bearings are superior choice or this kind of application. 4.5 stars. How I review: Reviews start with 5 stars and I subtract points. - 0 for value but I try to provide guidance -0.5 to -3 for product not matching description e.g. stainless steel is actually plated steel -0.5 to -3 for product missing badly on execution I select products carefully so low (1-3 scores) are rare but detailed comments and critiques almost always are in the review. Most of my reviews come out 4-5 range. If possible I dismantle or destroy items to examine inner workings. ... show more

    • Fit my heavy duty dolly perfectly
I purchased a dolly with pneumatic tires about 15 years ago for household use. it has served me well and helped me complete many jobs around the house and even a full home move a couple of years ago. I knew that the tires would eventually wear and sure enough they stopped holding air. I could fill them up and it would work but by the next day, both tires were flat. I kept using it but eventually decided it was time to shop for new tires. The replacements come with the wheel attached so there is really no way to replace just the tires. My old wheels used a push nut style locking washer to keep them on but these came with a cotter pin and washer. I could have easily drilled the dolly but I wanted to make sure that the wheels were tightly attached and whenever you use a cotter pin, there is a little bit of play that allows the wheel to have a slight bit of side to side movement. The tire appears to be of good quality, but you should know that it is tubed. This means that the weight limit is a bit less than a tubeless (300 lbs). The wheel appears to be made of steel and I see no gaps in manufacturing. My only advice for improvement is for the manufacturer to include a push nut style connector along with the cotter pin and washer. Also, caps would be a nice addition. ... show more
