The media could not be loaded. I have used 2nd and 3rd screen (monitor) for about 10 years now due to the nature of my work. But lately, due to frequent travels I've had the need for a portable monitor. The "UPERFECT 18.5'' Portable Touchscreen 120hz Monitor w/VESA & 180° Adjustable Stand, Ultra-Slim & Lightweight UHD FreeSync IPS HDR Gaming Display, USB C Travel Second Monitor for Laptop Switch Phone" is exactly what I needed. After 1 week of everyday use, I am very happy with the product, for the price, and for a lot reasons. To start with, the product does exactly as advertised. 1. It comes with all needed accessories and ports - mini HDMI port and 2 USB C 3.1 ports, power adaptor, cables to connect to most everyday devices. 2.The size, sleekness, thinness, picture and video quality, stability, and the touch are perfect for me. This is goodbye to slow work pace when I am travelling and goodbye to carrying my bulky (non-portable) monitor. This UPERFECT 18.5'' Portable Touchscreen Monitor is really portable all round. 3. Despite it's size and refresh rate, it does not need more power. I stopped connecting it to a power adapter after 2 days. It works perfectly fine without flickering or entering power saving mode. I used just USB C 3.1 and the mini HDMI cables and port to transmit signal and power as well as enabling touch. 4. I also love the 180° Adjustable Stand; it makes working easier and enjoyable. 5. The customer support is great. The response rate and detailed guidance is nice. If you need a really large portable monitor with touch, I will recommend the UPERFECT 18.5'' Portable Touchscreen Monitor. It is worth its sort. ... show more

I bought the monitor for when I'm on business travel to maintain my productivity while working inside the hotel room. This was recommended to me by another coworker and he enjoyed it for that purpose. Now, I haven't used it for the original purpose yet. The monitor doesn't come with a cover or sleeve like the other models. It also doesn't fit in my computer backpack since it's 18.5". I didn't expect it to. There aren't that many 18.5" cover/sleeve on the market. I contacted the vendor if they have anything available and they immediately responded and sent me a sleeve. That's great customer service right there. Of course, it's also in exchange for a review which is fair. However, I can only provide first impression and my tests thus far. I'll have to update this review later once I have the opportunity to use it on the road daily and see if it'll hold up. It comes with two USB-C ports and a mini HDMI port. I tested the USB-C with a MacBook and a Dell laptop. Both works. The manual says for stability that I should also directly connect the monitor to a power supply but I actually don't see any stability problems so far. I'm only running one cable from monitor to laptop. Maybe that'll change once I actually get around to using it. The nice thing is that they supplied all the possible cables (two USB-C to USB-C and one mini-HDMI to full HDMI) and also the power brick. The stand is adjustable and seems solid. It can go pretty vertical which is a little surprising but no sure who would want it vertical unless you do a VESA mount. It does have four holes in the back for it. There are also these two rubber feet underneath the bottom bezel so you're not setting it directly on the table. Screen quality. I can't complain for the price. It's not as nice as my MacBook but it''ll do a fine job for work. No dead pixels out of the box either. I really like that the bezel is simple and clean. No logo or random design lines. ... show more

    • Greatly Improves Productivity

I have always found multiple monitors to increase my productivity when I'm at my desk. However, as an IT consultant I am often deployed to client sites for strategy meetings or proposal writing. My work involves spreadsheets, presentations, and lots of copying/merging of documents. So having a portable monitor (or two in my cases) on the road is enormously helpful. For a few years now, I have travelled with 2 15.6" monitors in addition to my laptop. I use two for my "working" spaces and the third I use in split-screen mode for my email and messaging applications so i don't miss important communications. While I do look like a total nerd, the setup never fails to impress my colleagues and clients. In fact, each time I visit a new client, someone gets so excited about my setup that they ask me where I got my screens and the price and by the end of the day they have ordered at least one. On the last trip, three people ordered screens (no joke). I have used a few different brands of monitors on the road. But last year I switched over to Uperfect. One is a 15.6" touchscreen model which is great for hands-on demonstrations. and the other is the standard 15.6" model. I really like them for a few reasons: 1) I hate when cables stick out of the sides. The inputs are recessed so they don't interfere with close arrangement of the monitors next to my laptop. 2) They are much thinner and lighter than other brands I have used and two fit easily along with my laptop in my backpack. Going through airport security is not that much of a hassle either. I grab all three with one hand. 3) The Uperfect customer service is unbelievable. I just ordered a 18.5" model when the stock was low and they reached out to me immediately to let me know there might be a delay while they restock. I had a few exchanges with them through Amazon and online and they responded very quickly. They apologized for the inconvenience and then it still arrived on time! Now I have connected the monitor to my home office as an additional monitor below my two main widescreen monitors. It is replacing my glossy 15.6" screen. The brightness is great, the text is sharp, and the matte finish is ideal for my workspace since I sit next to a bright window so no glare. I have decided that it works so well for me that I'm going to purchase another for the road. In short, this monitor is great and so is the seller. I highly recommend buying this monitor especially if you travel. It is totally worth it. Thank you Uperfect for your great customer support and your great monitor.
