So my daughter just turned seven and is about 53” tall I guess? She’s always been 99th percentile. I ordered the recommended size for her age which I think was XL. She loves this wetsuit! It’s slinky and thin. Basically she tried it on then refused to take it off the rest of the day it was that comfy. She also pretended she was a superhero. I got this for more practical reasons: 1) Sun protection 2) warmth for summer frigid Lake Michigan swims or early morning swim practices (might want a thicker one for snorkeling or diving as she gets older) 3) modesty 4) rash guard if we try paddle boarding or protection from hot sand also etc 5) windbreaker Bonus: it came with a matching swim cap. Now to normalize swim balaclava masks… Power ranger to the rescue! Just an idea. Added bonus: COVID protection! Just kidding that would probably be too sweaty and get too many stares on the beach… In all seriousness though we are sticking to outdoor pools due to BA2 and for scheduled lessons when you can’t control the weather I think this suit is a must for more windy/chilly or just cloudy days. Once you get cold and shivery the fun is over. Nobody likes blue lips and chills…so I could see this prolonging our fun. Probably makes the water slide real slick, too… ... show more

This Uobzyaq Kids Full Body One Piece UV Protection Long Sleeve Wetsuit arrived quickly and looks as it does in the product images for the most part. When I received it I was VERY uncertain It would fit, Its quite slim but has a good length. I ordered the XXL and while the material does thankfully have some stretch to it, its was still very tight. The sizing chart said the XXL was for 66-83.6lbs which is just not correct. My daughter is (6) and 61lbs, She adores it so she wanted to make it work which I fully support so long as it doesn't constrict any blood flow. The suit itself is cute, I ordered the black and orange color schemed one. I am disappointed because it won't last long since kiddos grow pretty quickly. Not sure I would recommend. ... show more

I got this full-body rash guard swimsuit for my 7-yo daughter and she loved wearing it at the beach. I followed the sizing chart and ordered a size medium for her, and it worked out perfectly (she's 42 pounds, 46 inches tall). We did some tandem boogie boarding at the beach and the swimsuit protected her skin from both the sun and the board. When the water turned colder around 6:30pm, the swimsuit could no longer keep her warm and she began shivering (the weather app said it was around 69 F). For late afternoon beach swimming, a proper neoprene wetsuit would be the better choice. Although the swimsuit couldn't keep her warm at the beach in the evening, it's perfectly fine for the local swimming pool which is often heated between 75 to 80 F. At $23.99 (as of 2022-06-11), it's quite affordable and well-made. 5 stars. 👍 ... show more
