Very disappointed. I order a 18 inch UPart and the length is more like a 10 inch. There is alot of shedding and ends were brittle and dry. The hair is thin, you can see in between the tracks. The curl pattern is not like the picture. The size of the wig is big therefore I had to sew it down. I have a very important function to attend and I feel embarrassed about wearing this wig in public. ... show more

Hair is light weight but still dense. Very soft curls no shedding. Sewed wig down and did the crochet method to cover track/opening so none of my hair is left out. (YouTube or TikTok the method) Love this method for wearing different color hair and not having to blend. Very easy and quick to install. And great price. I did order 22 or 24 because I trimmed it to look more natural and nicer ends. So I would suggest order an inch longer than you want then do a little trim and frame face to look more natural. So right off the bat if you are like me and came here based off of YouTube and was thinking you were gonna get a v part wig I’m here to tell you IT IS NOT THE SAME WIG OFF OF YOUTUBE THIS IS NOT A VPART WIG!!!! This is a U part wig with a small opening if you want a legit v part you will have to order off of their website and pay that extra coin sis. However, what I can say other than that fact is that this wig is very nice. The curls look stunning and the hair is SO SOFT. That alone is what saved me from returning it. It is a small leave out so if that makes you uncomfortable I would not suggest this there is no way around that. However I don’t have an issue since it isn’t that far from my natural hair texture I would say that this wig is about a 3a 3b texture looser curls texture. It does come with a odor but most wigs do nothing overbearing that a quick cowash can’t fix. It comes with little goodies such as lashes a wig cap and a headband which was super cute. I will come back and give a further update after I cowash and add product if I can I’m not sure how Amazon reviews work but as of right now 7/10 just because I don’t like when companies give YouTubers one product and then when a customer buys it it’s different but I don’t regret the purchase Update: Ok so I wore it a few times washed and conditioned and Imma say she is a keeper! No shedding during the washing process and it took to products well. The biggest thing is that you have to treat it like it’s your hair!!! Most ppl who have bad luck with this wig are just adding water and foam which is a no no you need to condition it add leave in etc or else it will look crazy. The media could not be loaded. I know… you're like WHAT! ONE YEAR! I usually have about 6-7 V/U Part Wigs and obviously I wear my hair out and get braids at some point as well. This was the only VPW like this so it's easy for me to know which one was which. For clarity, I have a loose curl, a kinky curly (this one), a kinky straight, a yaki straight 14”, a bob, a yaki straight 18” that I relaxed and one that's like a bayalage for when Im feeling like some color. Anyway, after the initial unboxing and the initial wash and conditioner it was just difficult to manage. I tried to just wear this like it is and it became much more tolerable when I added the As I Am color wax, that's what you see in the pic. I have no idea what made me try it besides that I wanted to try it lol My hair matches this curl pattern perfectly! (Side note: With the looser VPW I usually perm rod.) Ugh… I wanted to love this thing… I don't know if you have used the As I Am Hair Color Wax but it can get messy so only about two weeks three max and then this gets washed, conditioned, twisted and put in a baggie. Okay… so in total, I think Ive worn this no more than 4 times at a span of 1-3 weeks each time. I haven't worn this one since about August last year (wore braids and weaves mostly last winter.) Obviously, I took her out like let me wash you up beau and get a few more wears out before I have to replace you. The video is after the wash and I let it soak in a conditioner bath for curly hair for about an hour. Anyway, this has happened almost every time I have used this wig, to the point where now it actually looks like the same density of my hair too 🤣 my husband 100% thought this was my hair now… when I told him I was wearing a VPW, he said “What!? Why even bother!” lol. Anyway, it's not soft unless you complete the aforementioned steps: wash, curly conditioner bath for an hour. Don't put it in water that's too hot, don't use a dryer bag to dry this, no, no, no sis. This is honestly like a wear it like a month worth of time tops and then toss. The maintenance is worse than any hair I have ever had to deal with! I have ordered one similar to this that should be here today - different company. I hope I get a better result. Rating 1-10 (10 being the best) Value for the money - 4 Texture - 6 Quality -5 Density - when it started a 10 now a 2 Overall rating: 4 which is about the length of weeks I recommend you wear it lol.
