Very good value for the price! The finish is very smooth and they work very well for painting, charcoal, graphite, etc. I usually end up having to sand down the edges because they can be a little sharp. But I use these for portraits and they're a great option for it since you don't necessarily need to add any hardware to the back to hang it. I'm always on the hunt for inexpensive craft supplies. I bought this because it was on sale and was pleasantly surprised by the quality. The wood is very consistent and well sanded. I didn't do any additional sanding and it took paint beautifully. I would definitely buy again.
