I’ve been using the Under Armour Assert 9 for a few weeks now, and I’m really impressed by their performance. Right out of the box, they felt incredibly lightweight, which is a huge plus for me as a regular runner. The cushioning is just the right balance – soft enough to provide comfort on longer runs, but firm enough to feel stable on different terrains. One of the standout features is the breathability of the mesh upper. I’ve used these shoes on both hot days and cooler mornings, and my feet stayed comfortable and dry throughout. The fit is snug but not too tight, which is great because it prevents any slipping inside the shoe without feeling restrictive. The grip on the soles is also solid. I’ve taken these out on pavement, dirt trails, and even during light rain, and the traction has been reliable every time. Love these shoes, first time trying this company. I ordered my size which is 10 and they ran small. I had to order a 11, so be aware that you will have to order up by one size. Once I received my 11W shoes I tried them and they feel comfortable and the sole is nice a sturdy not soft like most sneakers now. I really like that these feel like walking shoes. They lasted awhile, about six months. They were pretty comfortable but could have used a little more memory foam on the feet especially around the toe area & right before the toes. They were pretty light weight. The fabric started to tear in the top part in the big toe area. Never had a shoe wear out in that area like it did. I broke my right leg knee, ankle, and foot 5 months ago and am finally back on my feet but experience a lot of swelling in my right leg and foot as expected. I needed new walking shoes since my last pair got cut off my feet in the emergency room. I got these a few weeks ago and basically haven't taken them off since. They are SO comfortable. I tried on around 10 shoes from 5 different brands and Brooks and Under Armour were the only ones that fit. Plenty of room in the toe box to accommodate my right foot swelling, but the heel is correctly small that my slightly smaller left foot isn't falling out of the shoe. My normal size left foot feels very secure, and my swollen right foot doesn't feel compressed. Due to the injuries I have a lot of random aches and pains, but these shoes do a great job of supporting everything as I get my function back. Highly recommend! The only con - I normally wear a 9.5, and both the 9.5 and 10 were too small, the 10.5 fits me at a whole size larger than normal! Very wasteful to order and return two pairs of shoes, the company should do a better job with sizing. ... show more

Comfortable enough, but come up when you search up hands free no tie and the pictures would have you believe that. I wanted no tie because I work with a child with behaviors, one of them being untying and trying to mess up staff shoes.
