The boots are extremely comfortable, and they are also probably the most quiet you’re ever going to get They have a very slick, modern tactical design that is suitable for security and police They’re very durable and flexible and allow you to breathe. Keep in mind that they are not very water resistant so you will get water inside of your boots if you step in deep water. They are probably the quietest shoes I’ve ever worn as I can walk around for miles each day and very rarely if ever make any noise. So far, I have really put them to the test and they have been a very high-quality product. This is my third pair of these. First time purchasing from Amazon. They are pretty comfortable and I need them for my job. I wasn’t paying attention and accidentally picked a size too large so I’m a little mad at myself. I was having an issue because when these were in my cart they would say one price but when I would go to checkout to pay the price would go up $5-$6 and I don’t mean the shipping or anything just the price for the boots. I took screen shots and everything and spoke to Amazon but they wouldn’t help me till after I purchased and received them. I was so busy trying to make sure I wasn’t getting over charged $5 I didn’t realize I chose the wrong size the entire time. And in the end I never got the $5 and gave up even though they promised me a credit. But they are durable and I like the way they look, they are definitely lightweight and much easier to walk in than regular boots more like a tennis shoe. The side zip is also my favorite part because after working a 12 hour shift the last thing I want to do is spend a bunch of time unlacing boots. My last pair literally walked them till they fell apart and put holes in them. 10k steps a day sometimes in all types of weather. They are NOT waterproof. Giving these boots five stars because they have held up to everything I have put them through so far. They are definitely not waterproof so keep that in mind if you work outdoors but I suspect some Scotch guard spray wood help remedy that issue. So far in the last two months I have walked about 50 miles on blacktop with these and there is minimal wear to the tread pattern. Even walking on fresh asphalt, not much material stuck to the bottom of them. The side zipper is a nice touch and is good quality, heavy duty laces were also nice to have. They are very lightweight and built well but for my overall size they are not the most comfortable boot on the planet. I suppose a cushioned insole would help but I have not tried that yet. ... show more

These boots are very comfortable, I work on my feet for 12 hours a day and these boots hold up well. I love the side zipper which makes them easier to put on/take off
