I bought this for my 4.5 year old to give him some independence while getting out of the car after a recommendation from a friend. He loves this! He can very easily use it by himself. He positions it by himself and just squeezes and that pops the buckle in his car seat. My mother also enjoyed using it and said it was a lot easier on her hands when she was trying to get my 2.5 year old out of the car. We love this little tool. My daughter is not the strongest and this helps her to be more independent and helps me to not have to jump in the back and unbuckle her to drop her off in the drive through line for school. It did take her some time to get used to it but once she got it, she is quick unbuckling herself. My 5 year old absolutely loves this gadget. I hand it to her after we park and she is able to independently get out of her car seat. My 2 year old has started to ask for it also because she sees how much her sister likes it, bus she won't be able to actually use it for a while. My kids whine if they can’t buckle or unbuckle themselves and want so badly to be independent with it. This not only lets my kids manage their buckle but it saves me from having to climb in the back of the van to help them out! Love this thing!

I have a camera set up on the headrest so I can keep an eye on baby when I'm driving, so I just hook it on the camera straps when I'm not using it, makes it super convenient to grab when I'm getting baby out of the car.
