I prep natural nail before applying these with nailbond glue then I file and smooth nail and tip together then apply two layers of Beetles builder gel to level everything and strengthen/adhere the tip. The media could not be loaded. If you’re someone that does nails or does your own nails, you guys need to get these pre-shaped tips. They have your universal from different variety sizes.. the shape on the nail is just as described in photo. The quality of the nail is really good too. I love how the appreciate looks. It takes me a lot of time personally on having to go and shape a nail, for example like my square regular tipped. Also, when applied with acrylic it has a nice thick dirtiness to it. The media could not be loaded. When I first bought them I doubted them, I had read so many review saying how they don't glue on good, or that they suck. But these are amazing, not only did they glue fast but they glued on GOOOODD!! I was so impressed I started slamming my nails on the table to see if a nail would pop off and it did not!! Mind you it was without acrylic too!!! Anyways I got the medium almond nails and there great I absolutely love them. If the nails don’t look very good in the picture, it is definitely user error and not the actual product. I am learning to do my own nails and there’s definitely a learning curve when it comes to diy dips and gels. These tips are a really good quality and there is a little “step” with the application where the tip begins, but it can definitely be buffed out with layers of dip or gel. The shape is perfect, and if you want it shorter, you will definitely not have the perfect almond shape shown. I do find that sometimes side of the natural nail will show at the base of the nail tip and part of that is because of the almond shape and the width, but I think this would be the case with any tips. I love the shape and length; however, despite saying these will work with polygel that was not my experience. I tried 3 times with different methods and polygel would not adhere to them. I tried polygel over them without any base coat and the polygel seperated from the tip. I tried roughing up the tip and the polygel seperated from the tip--again no base coat. I then tried roughing the tip and also using base coat with the same result of the polygel not adhering. ... show more

I have horrible nails and have never been able do my nail with acrylics due to allergies to glues and other chemicals. I researched these for days and decided to order them. Again, very hesitant I had prednisone on hand just in case I had a reaction. I’ve had them on a week and no reaction or allergy’s. They stay on and I’ve received a lot of compliments on how pretty they look. Even my boyfriend was happy to see these beautiful nails!
