Good sharpeners are hard to find, and I was happy to find this one as it's design makes for sharpening with no mess, and so far it is quite sharp and does a good job. Hopefully, the performance lasts for a long time! It's definitely been worth the purchase.

I absolutely love the new tattoo type eyeliner pencils because they last all day, with some waterproof. The big issue was sharpening. I decided to try this Ulta brand because a couple reviewers said it worked on the new plastic-type pencils. IT DOES !! I twisted slowly, I live in the PacNW and there are cosmetic issues here as its either warm or rainy and cold. This sharpener works period.
