The foam pieces are cut extremely close to the shape of the openings, however there is a lot of friction when assembling making it difficult.

Very comfy foam and soft cover. Arrives as compressed foam, but readily recovers to its normal thickness and shape. Takes some effort to put the foam pieces into the cover, but it's not too difficult. The cover fits snugly, but perfectly. Bought two of these as gifts, and both kids like it a lot.
