We have an old stockade fence and our mini schnauzers have started getting out by pushing on the rotted boards at the bottom. I needed something to keep them in the yard as my neighbor called me every time she saw them on her yard camera. I appreciated her vigilence but knew it was only a matter of time before they got out front and into the street. I tried one of those perimeter electric fences but it really didn't work. So trying to find an interim fix until we could replace the fencing, I ordered these. I was surprised at how heavy and stout they were. I expected flimsy wire pieces. But these are solid. They slid easily into the soil ( I did it right after a rain) and they stayed in place all summer. It did the trick. Once we replace the fencing this winter I will repurpose these to keep my mini garden terrorists out of my flower beds. ... show more
