I bought this for a storage closet for my 12-year old daughter and I couldn't be more pleased. It is a GREAT value for the cost, you cannot beat it. There is plenty of storage space to organize small - medium items or clothes, as well as ample space for hanging clothes. This absolutely helped to get my daughters room neater and more organized with less things lying around. The closet is very sturdy once put together completely. WARNING: I will advise to be careful and not apply to much pressure/ muscle when putting the item together. The connecting bars can bend on you if you apply too much pressure. Don't worry though, once it is all put together it is very strong and sturdy. It did take about an hour to put it all together, but that would be the only negative I would give. Plus it is worth the time once complete. Anyone saying the item is cheap or weak did not assemble it properly. This has to be one of the worst purchases I’ve made from Amazon. The instructions are not worth much at all, I’ve seen some people say it’s self explanatory and while that may be true, that didn’t make it any less difficult. Fabric cover was ripped and is very cheap, I also paid for one day shipping and then suddenly it jumped to two day shipping so I’m still confused on that. There was also missing pieces and the plastic connectors are very cheap and break easily. 10/10 do not recommend. It just seems like a scam. ... show more

My sister and I share a small room, and she needed more closest space. So, I bought this portable closet and it's the best thing that's ever happened to our room. I build it in the living room because I wanted to have a lot space and afterwards we just moved it against a wall in our room. It does look bigger in person than in the online pics, but it didn't take up too much space. It's honestly so convenient because you can also use it as storage if you need to and you can customize it how you like. Advice for assembling: - Count the parts before assembling! It's pretty simple to build when you follow the instructions, but some of the pieces look very similar. So, counting them out will help you differentiate between all the pieces. Hint: The longer pieces are used for the foundation. I didn't realize this until the end and had to go all the way back to redo it. - When it gets to the part where you wrap the black cloth around the bottom, there are holes in the cloth you can use to make it easier. I didn't notice at first and ended up watching a youtube tutorial to see how to do it - It's pretty easy to assemble; just follow the directions and watch some youtube videos if you need a better visual reference. Reminder: - This closet does not come with hangers or bins. We bought the hangers and bins you see in the picture from Walmart and it worked perfectly with the closet. We've had the closet for about 3 weeks now and it's still standing! It has great durability (granted- we don't put a ton of heavy things on the bottom), but it was definitely what we needed! ... show more

I didn't build as pictured.. My closet has a steel pipe for hanging clothes and this is too tall I wanted a storage system inside my closet and this works for me I now have a temporary solution for my huge closet to have compartments to store not just clothes As mentioned in other reviews, be careful of the tubing.. it's sharp and I cut myself Also, the plastic pieces are not durable and the sharp tubing can cut right through ... show more

It took me 3 hours to assemble it and I'm very good at assembling anything. Instructions are really terrible. Things are not labeled except for the only clear item. I made many mistakes which kept me going backwards to correct them. The plastic connectors came mixed in two bags. Make sure you empty them first, separate, LABEL them, and COUNT them. Trust me, you must do that. The rods inserted in plastic connectors aren't easy to go all the way through, make sure you have something like a soft hammer to help you. Also, you need to open the image above and open to the image where it shows the entire design without the fabric while building it. Some things became clearer using them. But the little paper with instructions is badly drawn. The final stage to do the 4 B rods, the corresponding plastic connected were too tight, so they started to Crack, but you must get them all the way through or they won't fit at all in their location. This design of those pieces were the worst of the entire thing. At the end, it was done and it is sturgy enough and I hope it won't fall when I put clothes in it. Best thing is its light weight, you can lift it with no effort and put it anywhere. And it is quite large. Finally, the gray color is more like army green. ... show more

I got this closet back in November of 2023 and not even a full year later it started leaning. Then it started to cave in. I had the times even distributed, but then one of the hooks broken making some of my clothes fall to the floor. Then it started leaning against my wall and it has most recently caved in as if the rods on one side broke. I would not recommend getting this, at least not for an adult. ... show more
