This honest reviewer was honestly shocked at how good the matte shadows blended out so nicely! For reference I wrote on my own numbers, that's one big negative about this palette is that they are not numbered on the front (there is a number chart on the back but who would use that?) I also wish the colors had names but you get what you pay for! This is just eyeshadow and mascara, I wanted to see how much coverage it would give without concealer or foundation for the girlies like me who only do eyes 90% of the time. I went in with #38+#1 on the full lid as a base color, then blended in #4 on the mid eye, then I mixed #4 & #7 to darken the shade more, the mattes themselves blended in BEAUTIFULLY. No fall out, wasn't super dry and a little bit went a long way, I was even tapping/blowing off my brush each time I went in for more color and it is still very pigmented. This is only my first look from this palette but I can already tell it's my go-to. I did end up adding a touch of the shimmer/glitter #5 on the lid/inner eye and there was alot of fall out using my brush so next time I plan to use a sponge applicator or my finger for the glitter and press it in rather than trying to blend it. Or if you want to blend it in use a shadow shield/paper towel underneath your eyes. The colors are vibrant and beautiful. They blend well and look pretty. The palette looks huge with 80 colors and 6 blush/highlighters etc. However only 44 of the 80 are for eye shadow!!! I assumed all 80 were. But they clearly marked 36 out of 80 were not suitable as eyeshadow. I wonder if they cause allergies, but I also don't know what they are useful for and why they would put them mixed in with the eye shadow palette and ask us to figure it out! Lol! The ones I marked in my pic with the pink dot on the top right of each color are suitable eye shadows and the others are not. I am glad they were honest to mention this in the package but it is tricky being mindful of what to use while doing the eyes. ... show more
