They are great quality & have survived a trip to DR, doing an island tour & UTV riding. However, only thing I found in pleasant is that they do let sand in, so they need to be shook out. I bought these to replace an old pair of tennis shoes I specifically wore on my way to and from my lacrosse games prior to putting on my cleats. They are perfect for this. I have even started wearing them instead of slippers. Two things. First is the soles are thin, so be careful on gravel. Second is to know you European size. If you wear a half size, go down, ie 11.5-11. Structure and comfort are both there. I’ve been in the rivers and oceans for the past 35 years, if that helps.
