Its become more difficult to find our size filters locally and they’ve increased in price. Our heat and air guy said the ones we were using were bad for our unit anyway. This filter fit my furnace like a glove. It feels very sturdy and hopefully will last a long time. I already have a filter that is mostly plastic, but I don't know if it is better or not. I will keep the plastic one to use while the new one is drying after cleaning. I am glad I bought this filter.
