As someone with adenomyosis these are a godsend!! On the days where my flow is so bad that leaving the house is a nightmare, these provide the coverage that I need. I used to wear 2 thin over night pads, aligned so the front and back would be covering the majority of my underwear. This was taxing, to consistently line up, expensive, required me to have more products with me when on the go/travel. These longer pads allow for front and back leak coverage for longer durations. I am so glad I discovered this pad. On my heavy days the blood would run all up my crack (tmi) and dirty my underwear garments. This pad has eliminated that problem. I've always used Always brand. But, I saw this & wanted to try it based on the advertised & reviewed length. I like long pads, but I don't want bulky pads. They make so many different versions, it's high time they developed one like this. It's 15.5" end to end (14.5" padding) length × 3.3" width × 2 cm thick (very thin). It still feels like the same protection as we'd get from an overnight thin pad (thinking of Always #5), but better coverage with this Kotex pad. Wings are positioned at the 4"-6.5" (2.5" wings) point; AND at the 12.25"-14.25" (2" wing) point on length of pad. I actually flip the length, so the charcoal area is at the rear (literally). The top wings are spread on panties instead of wrapping around them. Maybe they were made for that because those wings are padded (unlike other end wings), and width expands to 6" at that end. I wanted to love these. The end twists & bunches, and sticks to my skin, causing discomfort & forcing me to make constant adjustments. I'll use what I bought, but I won't repurchase. If they could make this size in flex-foam I'd be very happy. ... show more
