Holes and shape work as intended. Need longer bolts and washers and some bushings to fit on stock 2013 Jeep Jk. Quick trip to hardware store fixed that. Would have paid more for one that was complete with hardware. Still a great value.

Great Mount. I mounted on my 2014 JKU. I have and spare spacer to accommodate my 35x12.5 spare. This mount fits perfectly. You should grind off the powder coating under the top antenna hole and the outside of both bolt holes. This provides a good ground to the body an eliminated the for me to run a ground strap as I initially intended. If your setup is like mine you will need longer bolts (M8 1.25 thread 13mm socket) and six flat washers to mount this straight. Two flat washers underneath and one top then put in your longer bolt to bolt in place. When you remove your two factory bolts you will hear the nut retainer drop into the tail gate. Do not worry. You can gain access to put back in place through the outside center vent. It just pulls out. Once bracket is installed you can put back in. The last two photos are without the double washers between the mount and the tire carrier. If you look closely you will see it sits at an angle. ... show more

Quality of Mount was Good! and was excited to install. But unfortunately it did not fit with the after market Smitty Built Hinge kit so I had to return it.

    • Stock spare tire runs against antenna

Mount itself is well made and sturdy. After install and placing the spare tire back, it runs against the tire. I had to place washers behind the mount itself to keep it straight, this only assisted the issue, it did not fix the issue. May have to put spacers behind my tire to make it work right.

The bracket is perfect and exactly what I expected. Great product. There is however an issue now that I should have thought of. You can’t close the tale gate when the rear glass is open. Sometimes you want to. And sometimes gravity try’s to do it for you. It’s annoying and I know I’m going to break something some day. ... show more
