It’s very cheap and holds the tire to the side of the trailer. BUT….the sidewall of the tire is smashed into the rail when mounted vertically on my utility trailer. If your mounting it flat ( horizontally) then I would recommend but not for anything else.

Simple spare tire mount. Fits most tube frames. Fit on my tow dolly with no issues. Comes in a plain brown box. No instructions. If you have half a brain and are mechanicaly inclined, you'll have no problem figuring out installation. Not bad for the price.

I bought this in the spring and by the end of summer, I had to remove the tire before it broke off and fell in the road. The plate on which it's welded is to thin and the vibration has cracked it all around the weld. It was ready to break off and leave my tire in the road. Or worse, to hit a passing car and someone gets hurt, putting me at fault. Also the plate where the bolts are anchoring it have been deformed. I'm in need of another tire mount. I can't take the risk on this anymore. I can't recommend this tire mount and feel it's been a waste of my money. :-( ... show more
