Don't let the title fool you, there's literally nothing dinosaur about this set. There's a handful of stickers and a dry-erase marker thrown in as an afterthought. If you're looking for something similar to the name brand's offering for farm/exotic animals, this isn't it. That being said, these tiles are great for the price. 60 total allows you to do a lot more than the name brand's 10ish for the same price. This was a birthday present for my 4 year old grandson. He has really enjoyed it and trying to build his own “creations”. This is a good experience toy, but some of the pieces doesn’t always stay put as they should. However, he spends hours with it and has fun, as he learns some building techniques.

This is a good beginner set for a child who is just starting to build with magnetic tiles. It is a very small set so you are absolutely going to want to add on at some point. I think this is a great gift idea though because it’s less pricey than the bigger sets, and had a cute Dino theme. Probably best suited for children about 4 and older, but 3 would enjoy as well. The set comes with a lot of fun pieces. The characters are a thick foam that will stick and can be moved around easily. The marker and the whiteboard pieces are a cool add on. The marker writes great and erases good and doesn't leave black smudges. The colors are great. My only issue is the magnets are not sure strong. You can build with them and my child didn't seem to mind. But I definitely notice, especially when trying to build higher projects. ... show more

    • Nice, wish that magnets were a little stronger

My toddler plays to play with these magnets. My only complaint is that I wish the magnets were a bit stronger, when building tall towers they aren’t as strong I hoped. However, the stickers are great, you can take them off without damaging the blocks. The markers fun to write with and come off easy.

I love magnetic tiles because you can do so many different things with them and these are no exception. It's unique that they're made in a dinosaur theme.
