  • Great goggle for the money.
Use these for swimming open water. Good for in the sunshine. Seals pretty well.

  • Well made, and look great!
These TYR goggs have one of the best lens coatings I've seen. They are the envy of everyone at the pool! The same quality I've come to expect in all TYR products can be found in these. They fit great, and seal up perfectly every time. I've never had an issue with leakage, or slippage even when doing drills with paddles and fins on. ... show more

  • the reflective coating is a big issue with these
like other reviewers, i had the reflective covering come off after 2 uses. I used these as my race day + a pre-race practice swim. It lasted 2 events and didn't work beyond that. spec ops fit my face really well for my incredibly long and terrible swims but this is not the version to get.

  • comfortable & clear
I like that I can wear them for long periods of time without feeling like my head is being placed in a vice. Other brands have to be strapped tight to your head for it to fit on your eyes properly. lol... Also, they keep my eyes from burning in the sun so I can see clear above and below the water.

  • Love these goggles
Only one swim with them, but can tell they are a nice upgrade from my Spec Ops 2.0 goggles. Its a bigger lens and offers more field of view compared to the spec ops 2.0. The seal is notably better also. I don't feel as if i have to wear them as tight. Last year I mostly swam with the spec ops 2.0, but as they wore out i went with the Roka R1. Those had ok field of view, but they were not comfortable on my eyes. I think i just don't prefer the style of goggle that goes in your eye socket. I'm looking forward to getting these out in the lake this summer. ... show more

  • SUPER CHEAP! DO NOT BUY
These goggles are extremely cheaply made. Within just two months the reflective coating on the lenses was already falling off. The coating hasn't fallen off from abrasion--these goggles have either been on my head on in a nice case--the coating literally falls off while you are swimming. This makes the lens appear foggy and dark, obscuring your vision. Extremely disappointed with such a cheap product after paying a premium price for Tyr's top-of-the-line outdoor goggle. I do not recommend this product. Additionally, the adjustable straps don't stay tight and easily slip out of the cheaply made adjustment slots. Finally, the nose piece is a funny shape and rubs on your nose bridge--something I've never had in any other pair of goggles. It fit too close against your face. Bad all around. Bummed they were such a bad purchase :( ... show more

  • Very comfortable, but don't buy.
The polarized reflective material on the lens started rubbing off after my second swim. Comfortable, but given the cheapness of the lens that defeats the purpose of buying expensive polarized version. Don't buy until the issue is fixed and confirmed to be fixed by TYR.

  • Smoke n Mirrored Lens
After 2 mos, mirror came off one lense. These leak at the nose with no adjustment.
