  • Gladiator Mojave: fits perfectly!!
2022 Gladiator Mojave. Zero fitment issues. After removing the stock bumper you need to take it apart to get the wire harness out. I assume that’s the case on any model with the fog lights built into the stock bumper. I also disconnected two tabs that secure the wire harness going into the jeep, and relocated it inside the bumper mounts since the fog light holes on the Tyger bumper are more centered on the bumper compared to the stock bumper placement fogs which are 6-8” further from center. I was actually able to use a hole on the inside of the frame to pop the wire fastener table into place. Almost like it was designed for this application. Zero cutting of any wires. I also used the license plate bracket adapter screws to mount my license plate up higher because it honestly looks stupid mounted below the bumper. I covers the Tiger logo and slotted vent holes, but those have no practical application anyway. The stock Mojave skid plate does not need to be removed to install this whatsoever. It’s 4 13MM screws, and I took it off b/c it made it easier to tighten the bolts when installing the Tyger bumper. I am also spraying it with bed liner to match the bumper. I didn’t like the silver stock skid plate color. You can get the Tiger skid plate that goes with this for $90, but it’s rather weak imho. The fog light mounts are a pain. Do yourself a favor and screw the fog light housing onto the adapter bracket, then screw it into the bumper. That’s inverting steps A-1 and A-2 in the manual. Set the screws loose, place it on, then tighten them down. Mounting the new bumper studs was a breeze with the tabs. They went right in. All I used was my shop stool to support it until I got 2 studs bolted up. I did this by myself in 3hrs, and I’m no mechanic. It’s a really solid bumper, packaged very well, and it looks fantastic. I dropped the tiny nuts and washers a few times, so I wish they’d include extras of those. I lost 15 minutes looking for them. ... show more

  • GREAT QUALITY AND BUDGET FRIENDLY
I was initially skeptical with the quality due to the very reasonable price. So very glad that I ordered this one. The quality such as welding, powder coat, and alignment were spot on. Did not need to use the directions much, but what I read was easy to follow. Kudos to Tyger for a great budget-friendly bumper. ... show more

  • 2017 Jeep Rubicon.
First off I love this company. They make really good products. I have had the bull bar and side steps on my tacoma for a few years and have had no issues with the coating chipping or flaking off and no rust what so ever. I really like the stubby bumper looks with the recessed winch mount and factory fog light mounts. It only took me and my 17 yr old son an hour to take off the factory bumper and get this one mounted. Make sure you have the little plastic thing that hold the brackets tight and line up the bracket bolts before you shove it on the jeep. My son didn't line them up when we were putting it on (my fault for not telling him to) and trying to get the bracket back in while halfway on is not a fun endeavor. Be sure to put the factory fog lights in before you put it on. This thing is a lot thicker metal than I expected. (which is great) The instructions were okish with pics but were a little too dark to make out but ehh who need instructions? And some of the fog light bolts have a lot of paint on them so they are a little tight when you start them(I cut the supplied allen wrench off and threw it in my drill). Over all I am super happy with the looks and function of the bumper. When I get the winch mounted and put some strain on it we will see if Tyger Auto lives up to my current expectations. But if you are looking for an inexpensive stubby bumper for a jeep that looks good I do recommend this one. ... show more

  • Sturdy and nice looking, time consuming install , problems with some hardware
Liked: Heavy duty, nice looking, good features. Didn't like: missing Several nuts for mounting the fog lights. Had to run to the hardware store for 4 nuts and back. Wasted almost an hour finding them but was in the middle of the install so didn't want to go through the hassle of waiting for seller to send the missing nuts. Poor design with the fog light mounts making it almost impossible to put the tiny washers, lock washers and nuts on the bolts...barely enough room to stick one finger in some locations while trying to balance the washers and lock washers on your finger tip to slide into the bolt from underneath, then good luck trying to add the nuts without the washer and lock washers falling off in the process , let alone trying to actually tighten them. I know I spent at least 3 hours messing with installing the fog lights, just due to the challenge of trying to attach the nuts and bolts! Same issue with the main bumper lower mounting hardware that holds the bumper to the frame in the jeep. Almost impossible to get the lower mounting bolt part that you insert into the bumper to line up with the insert tab so you can insert the bolt into the pre-welded nut. Then the bolts were almost impossible to insert/thread into those weld mounted nuts ...it was as if they were slighty too small or maybe an incompatible thread inside the nut. I had to force at least two bolts to thread and tighten, and no it wasn't cross threaded. Then once I got these lower bolts almost tight, I had to be careful because it felt like they were stripping when I went to actually tighten them.. only using a regular hand powered rachet tool with reasonable force so they would be secure. It took me about 9 hours split over 2 days to get the stock bumper off and the new Tyger Bumper installed, mostly due to the issues with the mounting hardware. Could have been designed to be more user friendly or maybe redesign the hardware so the customer doesn't have to deal with such rediculous challenges with the tiny hardware and difficult to align main mounting hardware. Side note: in my new 2023 Jeep Gladiator, the stock bumper mounting bolts (8 total) would not break loose, after 30 minutes of trying everything and every tool I own to remove just one nut. luckily I own and air compressor, so I decided to go to Harbor freight and buy a stubby air rachet tool. It made all the difference. I got all 8 nuts off the bumper in less than 10 minutes! Conclusion: great bumper once you manage to get it installed. Definitely inventory all provided hardware before you start! Will save you time and aggravation later. I'm 65 and have multiple disabilities, but I managed to do the install alone, but having a competent helper would be good. Also owning a mechanic creeper with wheels, a battery powered led work light and a good small flashlight are definitely a must. I would have given 5 stars if some of the tiny washers weren't missing., and the if the mounting hardware for the bumper fit better and was easier to mount/align. Mounting hardware and how it is mounted needs redesigned. Its good once you manage to complete the install, but way to frustrating and time consuming. ... show more
