I love fidgets and this one is now my favorite. I love the natural feeling of polished wood and the multiple ways I can fidget with it. It does get stuck, from time to time, but it's usually my fault for holding it upside down. I add a bit of beeswax and oil occasionally and work it in to keep it moving smoothly. I like it, has a good feel to it. The ball gets stuck occasionally, which is a little annoying but is fine. I've never had a spinning top before, but I am surprised by how long this thing can spin for. Only real issue I have with it is that out of the box it stinks of some sort of chemical, probably the agent used to stain the wood, and the smell sticks to my hands for hours. Smells awful, it has faded over the past couple of months and doesn't stick to my hands anymore, but I can still smell it if I bring it close to my nose. ... show more

Instead of fidgeting with the remotes, which usually ends up with a dvd or the monitor getting shut off, as he presses something he didn't mean to, he plays with this, one hand, two hands, on his chest, leg, whatever. it is quiet and doesn't attract my attention at all. He is thrilled, and so am I! Would recommend highly over either more expensive, roller types or those noisy things, which are distracting to those of us who don't fidget. ... show more
