  • Decaffination removal process has been changed! Be warned!
Flavor Name: Decaffeinated Green Size: 20 Count (Pack of 6)
Loved this product for the last 2 years. The new shipment came in with “naturally “ dropped from the box. I contacted twinnings and asked if they changed their caffeine removal process and they said yes! Now they use a chemical solvent. Not the co2 method like before! Thats the reason i started drinking their tea to begin with! Yikes. No thanks. I would have gladly paid more to keep the co2 method. They lost me as a customer. ... show more

  • BOX OF LIES - THE UNTOLD STORY OF A TEA GONE BAD
Flavor Name: Pomegranate & Raspberry Size: 20 Count (Pack of 6)
Buyer Beware! This is NOT the Pomegranate & Raspberry Herbal Tea you can buy in the UK. This is a product made by license in China with different ingredients. It is an inferior product not made by Twinings for an unsuspecting American audience. I just bought a six pack of junk. It is disgusting that Twinings would just slap their name on the box of a product that they didn't even produce. A product that contains filler and second-rate ingredients. DON'T trust the Twinings name in the US as you are not getting genuine Twinings products. ... show more

  • No Longer Lady Grey!
Flavor Name: Lady Grey Black Size: 20 Count (Pack of 6)
I've been drinking Twinings of London Lady Grey Tea religiously for as long as I can remember. I just bought 18 boxes. The first surprise was that the box has changed. I don't particularly care for the new one but it's no big deal. The next change, however, IS a very big deal: Twinings has reformulated the flavorings! Why, after all these years would they do such a thing...and with no warning? It's outrageous and extremely unfair to those of us who have been faithful customers for so long. No more. I will no longer buy Lady Grey Tea, or, for that matter, any other Twinings product. Any merchant which has such a cavalier attitude towards their customers doesn't deserve my business. ... show more

  • Not the Lady Grey you know and love.
Flavor Name: Decaffeinated Lady Grey Size: 20 Count (Pack of 6)
I have been ordering Twinings Lady Grey Tea from Amazon for literally years - the 6 boxes in a shipment. The most recent order, a week or so ago, came with the new Twinings packaging design - the gold box instead of the traditional blue. A vague disquiet began to stir inside me... I brewed up a bag and was stunned, absolutely stunned by the taste. Or more accurately, the LACK of taste. This is NOT Lady Grey tea. There is no orange or lemon, and certainly not a whiff of bergamot. This is just a tasteless tea such as you might get at a random diner. My morning routine has been shattered. Seriously? Does keeping bergamot in this tea add that much to the cost? I looked it up online and saw where Twinings had changed the Earl Grey a few years ago to make it more 'lemony', which provoked howlings of outrage amongst the Brits. Rightly so. Amazon was, however, gracious enough to accept my return. Not to be daunted, I have hunted out some loose leaf Lady Grey that smells and tastes as it should, but I'd rather have the convenience of the bagged tea. If any of you have a source for true Lady Grey bagged tea, please lemme know... ... show more

  • Twinings changed Earl Grey product - no good
Flavor Name: Earl Grey Size: 100 Count (Pack of 1)
Twinings has been making Earl Grey for more than a 100 years. It was our favorite tea. Now for some reason they changed the formula and this new tea isn't worth the cost of the water used to brew it. Nothing like the old Earl Grey. Taste is terrible. Buyer beware. You will not get what you were expecting. Hope the realize their mistake and change back as we will never buy their products again. We have sent this garbage back to them. What a shame. You have a good product that has been around forever and then you go mess with it and create an inferior product. No wonder some companies go out of business. If you have been an Earl Grey tea drinker we don't recommend this new version. ... show more

  • New look and definitely not same great taste!!!
Flavor Name: Lady Grey Black Size: 20 Count (Pack of 6)
I didn't receive the blue boxes that say classic. I received boxes of Lady Grey in boxes that are blue and gold and say Lady Grey black tea. It does not taste the same. The box says new look same taste. Iv'e been drinking this tea for years and this does not taste the same. Definitely lacking in flavor. ... show more

  • Twinings Prince of Wales Tea in Teabags is not the same as in the 100g tins of Loose Tea
Flavor Name: Prince of Wales Size: 20 Count (Pack of 6)
For many, many years I have been routinely buying Twinings Prince of Wales tea in loose leaf form i.e. in 100g tins of loose tea. Suddenly (Autumn 2020) it is no longer available for purchase. I bought some boxes of what is supposedly P.o.W. tea in teabags. However, this is nothing like the loose leaf type that I used to buy. SEE ATTACHED PHOTOGRAPHS - LEFT = TEABAG TEA, RIGHT = ORIGINAL LOOSE TEA. The tea bags appear to contain fannings whereas the loose-leaf form was composed of very large individual leaves. Most importantly, the taste and flavour of the tea-bag tea is quite different. These tea bags are garbage and not worth the price. I threw mine in the appropriate place for garbage. ... show more

  • My favorite tea!
Flavor Name: English Breakfast Size: 100 Count (Pack of 1)
I wouldn't classify myself as a tea snob, but I do really enjoy a variety of tea, and I'm picky when it comes to black tea. I want something strong, with a lot of body that will stand up to milk. Twinings is absolutely my go-to. I've tried loose leaf English Breakfast tea from Teavana and other specialty tea stores, and have always been disappointed. Their flavor is more plant-like, and less smokey, and overall weaker than Twinings. This tea also doesn't get bitter when I steep it for too long. Sometimes I forget, and it'll steep for 30 minutes. I just get a stronger cup of tea, not a bitter one. I really like this 100-count box. I can only find 50-count at my grocery store, and the 100-count is a better price than buying 2 of the 50-count, even on the best grocery store sale price. The box is a little big, but I usually move the teabags into an empty 50 count box (you can fit probably 80 in there pretty efficiently) and then stash the rest in empty mugs, so I don't have to accommodate such a big box in my little tea cabinet. ... show more
