This fitted sheet has a wide elastic band on the corners with an additional band to hold the corners together. I purchased these sheets and thought they were defective I didn’t realize that it didn’t have the split I was used to seeing so I was going to replace them which you did. So when I saw no split again for my sleep number bed I was disappointed. I thought okay let’s see. Then I discovered I was wrong! There is actually no split but a v shaped in the bed so we can raise either side or both at once! So I will be keeping both sets! The fitted sheet fits perfectly and FINALLY a top sheet that has enough on both sides so my husband doesn’t have to hog the top sheet! After I washed them they are so soft!
