Great mattress and super comfortable. It feels like a medium-firm mattress. I weigh around 120lbs and I haven’t experience sinkage in the mattress. It has a nice pillow top feel with some bounce due to the springs which is what I wanted. The mattress is heavy so two people are definitely needed to take into a room but I managed to unwrap it myself and let it air out. It took like 2-3 days for it to fully air out of the chemical smells (slight smell not too strong) and it fully inflated in less than 24 hours. I have had this bed for 3 months now and is very comfortable, my only issue with it is that the mattress top memory foam is wrinkly/bunched. I know this happens from the mattress being rolled up but even though we let it rise for a week it still had the wrinkly spots. I tried kneading them but no luck. I don't think I would like a $2,000 mattress any more than this one. First, as others have noted. it is HEAVY. Unless you are pretty burly, two people will be needed to get it onto a bed. Any tiny bit of odor was gone in a day or two. I actually think the protector I used was responsible for most of the odor I noted. While everyone has a different opinion about firmness, I would rate this as medium firm or perhaps closer to medium than to firm. I would not rate this as a true pillow top, but that is fine with me as it should be a bit cooler in the summer. In any case, having a fluffy top on top of a rock has never made much sense to me. The best part of this mattress in my opinion is the firmness towards the edge. I inched over towards the edge while laying down, and I found that the edge was neither harder than the rest (which I often find and hate) nor did it create a tendency to have me slide off onto the floor. This makes the whole bed usable. I was afraid that the manufacturers hype would not actually be true, but here I think it is. Not sure how they did it, but it seems to work very well. I also tried sitting on the edge, which worked OK, but I didn't buy a mattress to sit on in any case. After only a week of use I can't comment on how it will hold up over time, but it certainly looks to be well made. I much prefer this design with springs as well as foam as it makes it much easier to move around. An all foam mattress does not spring back fast enough to help me roll over, making it more work to move about. My only possible negative comment is that the springs are pretty much at the bottom of the mattress such that I expect that this mattress would not work well if it were only supported by slats rather than a box spring or other flat surface. If I was using slats I would put a sheet of plywood under the mattress and on top of the slats. So, in conclusion, I will not write some over-the-top comments about this being the best mattress ever made, rather I conclude that it is apparently well made, very comfortable for me, and has just the right amount of support all the way to the edge. ... show more

First and foremost, the comfort level is beyond my expectations. The gel memory foam fits my body perfectly, providing just the right amount of cushioning. It's like sleeping on a cloud, but without sinking too deep into it. I wake up every morning feeling rejuvenated with no aches on my back that I used to experience on my old, stiffer mattress. The cooling gel technology is a game-changer, especially for me who tends to sleep hot. Whenever I move, the cool air refreshes my body. Overall, I no longer have to toss around at night before sleep due to overheating, which has greatly improved the quality of my sleep. The build quality of this mattress is also excellent. The fabrics feel expensive and durable, and the edge support makes it so I can sit or sleep near without feeling like I would be falling off. It feels smooth to move around on the surface while having just the right level of softness for my comfort. While the price tag is a bit high, I think it is absolutely worth it. We’ve only had this mattress for a short time and it’s in a guest bedroom but from the time we opened the package and it decompressed we were super impressed with the quality. Not as described at all. This is a firm bed. I wouldn't go less than an 8.5 for hardness. I've slept on the floor with a 3 inch foam pad for 1 year and I didn't have the pain I have after using for 15 days. The springs are painful. I weigh 127. It is now 30 days. Novilla was difficult at first to get help. With the reviews they have about it I do believe mine is missing a layer. I don't think you should feel all the coils on the body. Novilla did start to work with me and are sending me a replacement. I'm a bit nervous and I hope they are sending me just as great as one but with the padding inside. I do suggest talking to Novilla directly and ask many questions before buying one so you get the one you know your getting. The photos and descriptions can be misleading or confusing like many brands I've noticed. Thanks Novilla. ... show more
