The only reason for the 4's is that we can still fill the metal frame underneath the mattress, which would not be an issue in a regular couch bed. I will say I bought this in a crunch, financially and time wise. It's a basic cushion, basic enough. I would have paid 100 for this but not over 125. Positives: No toxic smell, light enough to move cushion around, firm enough to lay on top of my metal frame and sleep on my back Negatives: if I sleep on my side it's very stiff and not comfy enough, it's not work $160+, photos and quality look much better in the photos. Takeaways; do a little more research, this isnt worth price, and you could find a better quality bed for just a little more money.
