This bed takes some time to put together but that is expected because you are essentially putting together 2 beds (much like and bunk bed). My husband and I devoted the day to doing this and are very please with the outcome. The wood is heavy duty and very strong. It does not chip easily like other products and this is very high quality. It was packaged well and nothing was damaged upon opening. This bed will last a long time. My kids love it and even my husband and I lay on these beds with our girls reading stories to them. Weight capacity is solid and I have never been happier with a bed frame purchased from Amazon. Great buy for the money. It is expensive of course but absolutely worth every penny! The media could not be loaded. Okay so I read almost all of the reviews and when I tell you I almost didn’t buy this because of the bad reviews I mean it. Yes there are a lot of parts, HOWEVER my package had ALL pieces numbered. The directions were pretty straight forward. Once you build one side you already know what you have to do for the next side. It’s very overwhelming when you start taking the pieces out and all the screws but if you take your time to separate everything before it’ll be a smooth build. It looks good, although a little difficult to assemble, the wood is of low quality, you must be careful when tightening the screws but it works for what you need it for.

The product is not worth the price. I receive two boxes. When I opened both I notice that all the wood parts were poorly painted in some cases you could even still see the wood, The two drawers came with defects on the corners, some of the planks came cracked, poorly marked pieces as they use little stickers with numbers but when you start taking the parts out of the box the stickers are already loose inside so you have to do some figure it out to know what is what. If you are not handy or haven't build anything complicated before I wouldn't recommend in doing it yourself. YOU will need at least 2 persons to build it. Saw this bed online and loved it for our kids. My husband and dad (who are extremely handy) spent 8 hours (plus) together building the bed and it’s still not done. The bed was delivered without an instruction manual and with screws and bolts missing. Thinking we had plenty of time to make the bed, we had to get creative for the kids to sleep. This could have been a much better product but the instructions aren’t clear they don’t provide the information as far as the sides being in or out. Some parts stickers were mislabeled as well as missing. The crown takes two screws on each top end which will hit each other if you use the angle shown per instructions. Paint was faint on many parts as well as huge accessories holes that don't even have a sticker to cover it. Bottom drawers don't have a stop stick so they can slide all way to the other end.
