I bought this mount so I could have my TV outside. Installation was fairly easy and intuitive, and it comes with lots of different parts for different TV's. My TV happens to be perfectly flat on the back with a 200 x 200 VESA mount pattern which is probably ideal, but this looks like it can be adopted to many different televisions. I was a little hesitant to drill into brick and trust it to hold but the hardware included for this is very robust and I have complete confidence that it will easily hold my 20 lb. TV. Note that for brick you will be there all day if you don't have a hammer drill which makes short work of it. I bought a used corded Dewalt hammer drill at the pawn shop for only $30 since my old one broke and none of my friends had one they could loan me. One of the best features for outdoor usage is that, if it isn't too big, the TV can easily be removed and reattached by one person as needed so I don't need a cover and don't have to worry about the TV being stolen. I'm almost 69 and I can install and take down my 50" TV pretty easily. The mount also works smoothly so that I can watch TV the way it is shown in the picture but swing it back to lay flat against the wall if I want. Hopefully, it will not weather badly as it is somewhat protected from rain but not sun. Overall, this has been a very good experience with a good product especially considering my concern about attaching it to brick. ... show more

    • Perfect mount provided you can center TV
Mount requires attaching to a wall stud. In my situation I have a location between two windows for the TV mount but the wall stud was not centered. So the TV is not quite centered between the windows. However, the mount is easily installed and very strong. Little stiff to pull TV in/out or rotate but that might get easier over time. ... show more

Quality made bracket and even comes with all the hardware to mount it to the wall. I mounted it to a masonry wall, and it even had masonry screws and grommets.

I was nervous to mount my 57 inch tv to the wall, but this mount made it as easy as it could be. The directions are very clear, which left little to no room for error and the mount itself is of high quality, which I totally trust to hold my tv securely to the wall. It's been up for a few months and I am still loving it. The best part is the rotation ability as it allows me to watch my favorite shows from the kitchen while doing dishes.
