  • Works well
This dock worked as intended and is very easy to use. No complaints here.

  • Great affordable alternative.
I haven’t had any issues so far. That said, I don’t leave the switch on the dock constantly. Usually only use it when I wanna do a tv gaming session or to charge up for using the switch in mobile mode.

  • awesome dock but wrong instructions (works with s10/s23)

  • Disappointed - doesn’t work
I really wanted to love this cuz i like how portable it is. I ordered it twice cuz i thought the first one might be defective. But i got my 2nd one today and this one doesn’t work either. I plugged in the USB-C and the HDMI cable directly from the dock that came with my OLED switch. No response. I even tried the trick someone suggested of plugging the USB-C into the dock first, then plugging the charger into the wall. Still nothing. I’ll be returning this one too :-( ... show more

  • Solid and great for travel
Works well with my switch but the usb-c is a bit snug. Hope it doesn't damage my switch over time.

  • Works better than the original, and thankfully has no special YouTube functionality
In the description of this dock it says something about using it for YouTube on the TV - which is exactly what we DON'T want our young kids to be using it for. Thankfully they're referring to a YouTube app on the Switch, not "Smart" function of the device. It's better than the original because it works with any compatible power adapter. I'm a bit paranoid, so I had this connected to the guest network and checked to see if it was doing anything unexpected using a networking monitoring tool, but as far as I can tell it's properly benign - it doesn't seem to be phoning home or doing anything nasty. It seems to be a straight passthrough as you'd hope. (a lot of these types of devices are actually intentionally loaded with network spyware). I use some right- and left-angle USB adapters to make cable management easier on the sides. ... show more

  • Works great
I bought for my nephew who had a switch without a doc. Worked out of the box and easy for anyone to configure.

  • Does not really support 100W charge, not even 30W
Main power issue: I used my phone and two different battery apps(Ampere and AccuBattery) to check for the charge. I use the official Nintendo Switch cable and plug to connect to this dock. Comparing to using the default Asus cable, which gives me around 1900mA/8W and a regular PC USB port at about 300mA/1.3W, the dock only gives me around the PC USB port output of 300mA/1.3W numbers, which means if I have the Switch turned on and running, it is actually draining more power than being given. Not by a lot, but still. None of the USB or USB Type-C ports give more than that power. Build Sturdiness: It is pretty sturdy, the only problem I have is the main USB C male being a bit loose. I don't think it is secured by glue or anything, just being held in place by something stopping it from going further in. Ease of Installation: Well, you just plug it in and it works, just like the original Switch dock, and the Ethernet port works without configuration. For Travel: I guess by itself it is light and easy to take around, but also consider the wall plug and HDMI cable, both taking up more weight and some significant space as well. I'd just bring the wall plug or even a USB C to HDMI cable if I really want to plug it to a TV or monitor. Most phones nowadays use a USB C cable anyway, I can always just use that for charging. Recommendation: Not really. It is not really giving out enough charge. If you don't play for long periods then I guess it is fine, but if you take it out and play it as a handheld for a day with little charge when back home, then use this as a charger overnight and you only sleep for say, 6 hours, before the next day roles in and you need to take it out again? You may not have enough charge for the next day. ... show more
