It's a great visual deterrent. I've had my car broken in too twice. Thankfully it's a stick shift, so the car remained in place. It is one of those cars that are popular for theft. Built in South Korea. OK, it's a hyundai. Got the yellow version so they can clearly see it.

    • Locking Mechanism Failed - While Locked on the Buckle

I purchased six of these for my immediate and extended family. After everyone using them for a few months (so everyone certainly knows how to lock and unlock them), one of them failed to unlock so is stuck on the belt buckle. I had to purchase bolt cutters to cut the cable. The vehicle could then be driven but the seat belt can't be used due to the failed lock still on the buckle. This seller is apparently in China and offered to replace the lock, but had little in the way of suggesting how to remove the one that failed - other than basically jiggling the key. Anyone purchasing one of these might want to carry bolt cutters hidden in their vehicle - you could need them. And, purchase a backup seat belt. ... show more
