These boots look extremely nice. They are very comfy straight out of the box. I was loving them until the zipper split open at some point during a show, not sure when, hopefully not til after I was done showing. I was able to unzip them and then properly zip them back up, so hopefully it was a one time thing. I do have very large calves so it’s not that crazy that it happened. Hopefully they will be fine next show! UPDATE: at a show last weekend, after wearing them for the second time, the zipper had the same problem but it happened on both boots this time. Soooo sad. They are so nice and comfy. It's really upsetting that I will have to replace them after only wearing them twice. I bought them in the off season so I had them for several months before wearing them so I assume they cannot be returned. I was able to get the zipper unzipped (with my boyfriends help) and was able to zip them back up properly again so will probably use them one last time this season. I had the worst time finding boots that fit me (I know, I know, riding boots are t supposed to be comfortable at first - I’m talking I’m not able to move level of discomfort). Or I couldn’t even zip them up around my calf. I nearly wept when I put these boots on. They fit like a (tight but not cutting off my circulation) glove. I have a feeling they’ll get loose pretty quick because of how soft the leather is, but I love them. I’ve had a couple of lessons in them and I was so much better at keeping my heels down. loveeee these boots. they look so pretty when riding. disclaimer.. they are going to be taller than you expect but that’s because they’re not broken in yet. the calf part runs maybe slightly big and i got the slim. so if you’re generally a pretty small person i’d say get extra slim. there’s a little bit extra room in my boots but it doesn’t affect my riding or look/ feel uncomfortable or weird. the sole is SO comfy it’s like memory foam or something. but it feels like i’m stepping on a bed when i walk. i wish all my shoes had these soles. but they’re very good quality for the price. most boots that sell for this price i’ve found are cheap looking but these are so pretty. also get a half a size up cause they’re going to be a little tight on the toe but not to worry they’ll loosen up when they’re broken in ... show more

Beautiful boots. VERY wide calf. Good price point. Good return policy based on the Amazon Return/Refund policy. Had to return because the calf was way too big. This was my first time ordering tall boots, so I chose a pair that could be returned in case the fit was off. UNTIL you actually return them. Then you'll be charged a $40 "restocking fee" that is NOT disclosed ANYWHERE in the Refund policy (I looked prior to ordering). Some lucky person made $40 for a 10-minute task of putting this box of boots back on a shelf and updating inventory on the computer. Good for them. I lost $40 and now don't have that money to put toward ordering a pair of boots that DOES fit. I would NEVER have ordered these boots had that restocking fee been disclosed. This is VERY dishonest and is basically thievery. I don't know if this is a Tuffrider policy or a separate policy from the online store selling these. It certainly was not in the Amazon return policy that is linked in the description. I feel very misled, lied-to, and stolen from. I will never order from this seller again, and just to be certain, will avoid Tuffrider from now on too. Just be warned. If you don't have $40 to spare, DO NOT ORDER THESE BOOTS. ... show more

I will always buy these for a cheap pair. They do a nice job of looking more expensive and they are very supple. One or two rides and your good to go. Only downfall is they are so supple your feet don't have much support.

I have only had these boots for a few months but they have worked great! they are very form fitting and take a minimal amount of time to break them in. My calves are on the larger size and I bought the widest calf I could find in my shoe size ( still slightly smaller than my actual calf size is) and they still fit very well. there is elastic that helps with the better fitting. the only thing that I have have an issue with is the snap at the top of the boot does not always snap in well, but that is a minor issue. overall very pleased with my purchase ... show more

I was so excited to love these - loved the look (especially for the price point), they were super comfy, zipped easily and fit very well straight out of the box. I wore them walking around my house for no more than 30 minutes to start "breaking them in" before riding in them, and the entire zipper on the left boot just split completely open. To be clear - it was not a struggle for me to zip up the boots, they did not feel tight etc...it is simply very poor craftsmanship. Upon further inspection the sole also appears to be glued on, and not very well. I really thought I was going to love these when I opened them and first put them on, but I guess this was a "you get what you pay for" scenario. ... show more
