  • Do it! You won’t be sorry.
Perfect fit on my 2017 Colorado Z71 Crew Cab. The installation is fairly straight forward. The directions could use a few more tips. For example on the front. You do not have to remove the brake calipers or steering arm as i’ve Seen in some video’s. The directions to do not tell you to do this, HOWEVER.... If you don’t remove the little bracket that holds the brake line and speed sensor wire, you wont have enough slack to get the strut back in once you put the spacer on. Also when you disconnect the upper control arm it will pop up and the knuckle will fall and put tension on brake line and speed sensor wire so be careful. I used ratchet straps to control. To get the strut in, all you have to do is rotate the knuckle forwards or backwards and it’ll allow you to drop the shock down and slip the top in and then put one nut on, loosely, to help keep it from dropping back down. Then as long as you removed that bracket you can move the lower control arm enough to fit the shock back in place. The next tip i’d Give you is this. When trying to reconnect the steering knuckle to the upper control arm, use two ratcheting straps. The first one i used two crow bars and the floor jack. The jack was lifting the truck and it was still extremely difficult to get the bolt from the control arm back into the steering knuckle. I used the ratcheting straps and jack on the driver side and it felt much safer and was WAY easier. When putting the spacer blocks on the rear, I did one side at a time. I’ll tell you that it looks like they’re not going to fit but get it in the hole and then start tighting down the u bolts. It’ll pull together. After the lift is installed you’ll have to get it aligned because without, you’ll have insane camber on the front. I took it to Goodyear and they signed it aligned great! I love the lift. All the parts were there. Everything is top notch in quality. It does lift the truck higher than it seems in pics. I think this is the perfect hight. Ride Quality. It’s odd but i’d Almost say that the ride is a little smoother, like a cadilac. If you hit a bump, it just feels a little less stiff. So, maybe it’s the same but it’s certainly not affected negatively at all! Steering is still tight and controlled. ... show more

  • Very good kit. Highly recommend.
If you are the least bit mechanical minded you can install. I watched a few YouTube videos. All you need is a couple jack stands & floor jack. This kit was very easy. Took me about 4 hours. I was going to do a pro install but they were closed Friday so I decided to do on a Saturday. Follow directions. Disconnect battery & take your time. I am glad I chose this kit! ... show more

  • Very Good product !!!
Perfect Lift , I was afraid to order this because every other brand has bad reviews about not fitting or having to redrill holes or bolts getting lose , but this Truxxx Lift is perfect fit and everything in description is 100% accurate. I put pics of my 2019 Blue Colorado 4x4 of Before and After . As ull see in Before pictures the nose of truck is super low and pointing down even with the Truck being a 4x4 i wasnt really happy with the front end being that low but After I installed the Lift it went up 3.25” , you can see big difference in the After picture. Thanks alot ! ... show more

  • Its a perfect fit and is as discribed KINDA BUT!!!!!!!
OK so, the kit is exactly as described and yes it fits perfectly!!! My issue is that it states you can put 33's....... SO NOT THE CASE. This kit is for 31's or 32's (with rub my opinion). I put my money on the description and lost that bet. I bought my wheels and tires online and well got stuck with them (still looks bad a** tho). As you can see in the photos I had to cut out a TON of the bumper and wheel well. It also rubs very badly on the back of the fender that is NOT able to cut out. This kit is what it is a 3" leveling kit that closer to like 2.75 but hey it is what they say it is. If you ever plan on even going on a groomed off-road trail YOU WILL RUB ON 33's and 32's! All and all it is exactly what it is, and it does fit perfectly! Good job on design but a complete FAIL on fitting any thing more then 31's! ... show more

  • Modestly difficult and the rear block holes were too small and had to be drilled out
Well, I tackled this yesterday and it was about a 6 on the skill meter. It ended up taking me 7hr with a trip to Home Depot to buy a 5/8 drill bit as the holes on the blocks were too small. Other than that the install was straightforward. 2019 LT 2WD. Tips.. Remove abs speed sensor and brackets plus brake line bracket. No need to remove calipers. Use a long screwdriver or pry bar plus a jack to re-connect the upper ball joint when reconnecting. When removing the driver's side strut 3 nuts from the top, the rear one is a bear. position the 18mm ratcheting open-end wrench on the right side to take off and on the left side to pit back on. It’s slow going but manageable. The dust shield gets in the way just push it out of the way. Have a 5/8 drill bit ready for the rear blocks. Truck on stock rims easily handled 265/70/17 AT tires which are just at 32inches. ... show more

  • Go ahead and buy it, you won't be sorry.
Very nice 3" lift. I have only installed the rear lift blocks so far and will post some pictures after the front is installed. I previously installed the rough country 2" leveling kit and it just wasn't enough clearance for the 275/55R20 tires I have on the truck. Update: Installed the front strut spacer blocks and it looks great and the truck rides the same. The only problem is the back is a .5" lower than the front, I wish this kit had a 1.5" rear lift block instead of the 1". I will now need to shop for 1.5" lift blocks for the rear. ... show more

  • Good product
Easy install. Spacers are a good product. The new u bolts rusted very quick. Would recommend the buy however put a protective coat on the u bolts before or immediately after install. I also have 33” on the stock wheels and they rub a little bit.
