This tool is sturdy & easy to handle. This should be mandatory in all vehicles; you never know if you'd need it. It comes with adhesive to mounted. I have seen Youtube videos where people are trapped in their cars and have always thought what I would do in such situation. Glad I found this tool.

These car escape tools seem pretty nice. I pray to never need anything like this product but I’m choosing to err on the side of caution. I like that they come in a pair so that you can share with a loved one or err even further on the side of caution and place two in your vehicle. That way there’s one within the reach of both the driver and passenger in case someone is incapacitated or the tool is trapped in the glovebox or ends up out of reach. Anyhow, the blade looks very sharp. There’s a loop that you can string something through if you’d like to hang it. There is also a sticker so that you can literally stick the tool anywhere you would like, but I don’t think that the sticker feels very strong and I wouldn’t trust it to keep the weighty metal tool in place, especially not in a jarring condition such as an accident. Another option is to slide the clip onto your sun visor. The metal body of the tool makes it feel durable and powerful and the glass breaking feature IS powerful. Most car escape tools seem to be hammer type objects that you swing into your window if you need to break the glass, but these tools are much different. There is a pressure activated propulsion of the pointed glass breaking tool. The sharp tip is embedded inside the car escape tool and when you press the tube shaped tool against the glass it propels the point with a significant amount of speed and force. I made an indentation in my table trying to test this feature. I feel like you need to press pretty hard to actually make it work but I was also testing it with some hesitancy. The dark blue color is attractive but the bright red is much more practical for an emergency tool. They are pretty small but the size is nice from a storage perspective. Overall, I find that having these car escape tools brings a sense of comfort and I would recommend them. ... show more

Very nice little tool kit. I did not think it can be so powerful, but it really shattered the sample glasses with a gentle push. Gonna put it in my car and hopefully I won't ever need to use it.
