For those few reviewers who thought the value of this great toolbox was too steep, you have absolutely no idea what a fantastic value this really is. I saw this exact same brand toolbox at a well known store (will not name it here) and they had it listed for $135. Yes, that’s right. So $60 for this amazing toolbox is a bargain. I hopped right on it and I’m definitely not disappointed. Also, not surprised it’s a Japanese brand, as most all products made in Japan are made with great care and quality. I also love the 8 small dividers they provide so you can adjust the sections to your needs. I’m not sure some of you noticed but there’s also a little square like hole in the middle when it’s closed so you can add a little lock to it for security. The bold, rich, blue color is gorgeous and the sturdy steel and ease of opening and closing is smooth. The weight, portability and size are perfect. Extremely happy I was able to find it for $60 rather than paying $135 at a well known popular store that sells containers, etc. That’s a $75 difference! HIGHLY RECOMMEND. ... show more

Industrial maintenance electrician here! This box is as rugged and durable as it gets. It’s my main box I carry around to machines holding my most common tools. I’ve knocked one of these puppies off a 3 foot high drop and it didn’t even spill open. Not sure why people reviewing this are crying about the paint??? It’s a toolbox, not a shelf decoration. These things last. You’ll be giving your grandkid this box. It’s smaller than most boxes, so you’re not gonna be putting a roller chest’s worth in it. However, if you get creative you can fit a ton of tools in this thing. The cantilever design makes for easy access. If you are a fisherman, this would be a great tackle-box that can take a beating. A well built, beautifully finished tool box. I almost hate to use it, love the blue finish, but it’s extremely well built and will probably be handed down to my grandkids. Not big, but big enough for a decent selection of homeowners tools and misc. hardware, hammer, pliers, crescent wrenches, screwdrivers, nails, screws and such, or a box to keep in your vehicles trunk.
