If you’re sick of losing expensive lures in the trees give these a shot. I bought these after losing a couple of whopper ploppers and couldn’t justify the expense of another just to hang it in a tree. They definitely catch fish, however, I knocked down a star due to some inconsistency in the action between each lure that was in the pack. They don’t have quite have the consistent action of their brand name counter part. The other issue is the overall build they definitely won’t hold up well to regular wear and tear but that’s really a non issue for me as these lures seem to be tree magnets for me anyway. ... show more

These did the job. I lost a Whopper Plopper and didn't want to spend the money for another one. These were cheaper and using the black/purple color on a cloudy day produced a ton of fish. At one point I went 7/7 bites to casts. The hooks held up well.

I spend a decent amount of time fishing and I have accidentally hit the wall with my other Lures but with this one, I casted with enough power to make it 10 feet if that, and the side of the tail dented and broke off from the main body still together, but hanging on the hook might want to put some consideration into trees and other surrounding areas before casting of this product ... show more

The media could not be loaded. Great movement, good quality, excellent value, color stays in tact with use, size is about 3.5 in not including the hook. fish seem attracted to it.

You get what you pay for and this is worth the money. This lure swims great, looks very realistic and I caught several fish during first usage. I would have given this a 5 star review if there was a 3rd hook on the lure. I missed several hits and I think if there was a 3rd hook, that would have reduced my chances of missing these fish. ... show more
