  • Modern work pants for the modern worker.
Size: 36W x 32L Color: Dark Deep Grey
I tried these pants because I thought there just must be something better out there. Specifically, I just got tired of heavy cotton work pants that soak up sweat, oil, and water and never seem to let it go. - Function - The modern material is awesome in 2 ways. First, it doesn't soak up sweat or water, so when I have to kneel on a wet surface and my knees get wet, the pants are dry again in 15 minutes. Try that with Carhartt pants or jeans. Not happening, you've got wet pants all day. IMO this is a major benefit. The other major benefit to the modern material these pants are made from is that dust and durt can't cling to the pants. Sawdust just hits them and drops right off. When I'm using a string trimmer, the grass clippings again will just fall off instead of sticking to the pants which is what always happens when I'm wearing jeans or cotton work pants. The material is very tough, this is my first pair, but I would estimate that especially the high wear areas will last much longer than jeans. I wear through the knees on jeans and work pants and they also wear at the front at the bottom of the pockets from sticking tools in the pockets. This modern material appears to be much harder wearing. - Comfort - These pants are very comfortable, the range of motion is excellent when kneeling or bending down. The waist is "canted" forward so the waistband doesn't cut into me in the front when I'm leaning forward, and this is a major comfort feature for me. The pants have great pocket placement. The "swishing" sound is a thing, but IMO the noise the pants make goes way down after 5-6 cycles through the washer and dryer. Opportunities for improvement: First, I don't think the phone pocket on the right side is deep enough for the current gen of phones, it only covers about 2/3 of my phone making me concerned it could fall out. This pocket would have been fine for the phones we had 2-3 years ago, but it needs an update. Secondly, these pants do NOT work if you are using any tool that sparks. Angle grinder, welder, chop saw, etc. If it throws sparks, you will burn holes in these pants. That's just the way it is with a synthetic material. I keep an apron in my shop so I can have protection when using the grinder and angle grinder, but be aware. ... show more

  • Quality and capable
Size: 34W x 30L Color: Dark Deep Grey
A few wears in and I am impressed. They feel durable and are still comfortable in early summer here in Michigan. The pocket layout is great, but I’m right handed, lefties might find some issues. The only two knocks are the swishing noise, and that the waste size feels a bit tighter than normal pants; I’d bump up a size. ... show more

  • Now own 10 pairs
Size: 42W x 32L Color: Sand Brown
These are light , breathable, comfortable, water resistant initially anyway after several washes they do lose that water wicking but they’re still comfortable! They can be worn for work or daily and have held up over a long time. My husband swears by these pants! Will continue to buy as long as you continue to make them. Thanks ... show more

  • Good quality, weird fabric
Size: 34W x 32L Color: Dark Deep Grey
The fit is a bit snug, you may want to go up a size if you're in between. The inseam length is perfect. The material feels a bit plastic and it rolls off water well but otherwise it feels a bit weird. If you're in the habit of putting anything on your knee while sitting it will slide right off. All of the pockets are too small and the hip pockets are easy low. Where my wallet usually lands behind my behind sitting, in these pants it lands right under my hip joint. Very uncomfortable. Otherwise these pants are extremely comfortable and cool. Definitely not cold weather pants. They do make an annoying swish noise when I walk but I've gotten used to it. They look good. I feel like they would snag easily. ... show more

  • Rugged
Size: 32W x 30L Color: Dark Deep Grey
These pants are the best work pants I’ve ever owned. I do a lot of black top and concrete and these pants hold up phenomenal. They are very rugged yet flexible, very comfortable and not to hot

  • Done searching for work pants!
Size: 32W x 32L Color: Navy Blue
I have been trying different work pants from amazon trying to find a durable pair that was comfortable and professional looking. These pants check all the boxes. The price point is a just right, you have to pay for quality, which at my point in life is just fine with me (36yrs old). The price has remained consistent as well throughout the inflation period we are all living in now. The fit is perfect, the pants do not shrink after washing, do not need ironing or quick folding, also they dry really fast. Another thing that is great about the pants is if they get dirty with dust or dirt you can wipe most of it off, or use a damp cloth like a cat bath. The cellphone pocket on the right side is just perfectly placed it feels like nothing is there, caused me to PANIC about the location of my phone a few times (It was on my right leg). The left cargo pocket is really nice as well. In the past 15 years I have been wearing Carhart 5 pocket, then move to duluth flex fit carpenter pants (love those for the flexibility) however the durability is low, the knees wear out way too fast. I wear knee pads almost all the time now when working on the ground to protect my Truewerk pants, and for comfort. My coworkers have switched to Truewerk as well (Currently have 4 pairs) Hope this helps the rest of the Trades workers on here. Stationary Engineer by trade 17yrs. ... show more
