If ya want decent quality ice skates, you probably want a better name brand. Also ice skates are oddly sized.. not like shoe sizes. We returned.

I like these skates. They're not as comfortable as some of the other ones I own, but that's a $12 problem. The hardware is nicely secured. Nothing loose or offset, including the blade. Laces are premium, very smooth. On the ice they were great. Smooth ride, great control, really top notch. Didn't have a huge amount of problems sharpening the blade, but it was a bit more work than I had to do with my other skates, out of the box that is. I haven't purchased a lot of skates, because I don't skate. :) However 3 of my boys do. My middle son likes these. He has a bit of a wider foot & not many things fit him. He said these fit nice & were comfortable. They need to be sharpened before use, but I think that's standard for any new skates.
