    • Better than a bungee cord
Solid metal! The only non-metal is the rubber grip on the jaws. This should offer a long service life. I had been using a bungee cord to keep my trilling motor from bouncing while the boat is in transit, either across a rough lake or on the road. This is much more convenient and secure. The dimensions work well with my trolling motor shaft as well as the height/offset of my trolling motor. The mount itself is adjustable with two ball-mounts, so you can get the perfect angle of attachment with your chosen mounting style. My only complaint is that the fasteners are somewhat useless for my application. They are not long enough to be used through the deck and not the correct type to be used through the aluminum rails on my boat. That being said, it is hard to fit all applications with one set of included screws, so purchasing my own stainless screws is not a big deal. ... show more
