Easy installation was my first observation. Also, being metal and plenty heavy, it should last longer than the trolling motor that I put it on. Unfortunately I haven't put it in the water yet but, I have no doubt that it will function as advertised. I am well satisfied with this product.

Good rudder, but the bolts and nuts need to be beefier to prevent stripping, plus, they need to be a quarter inch longer for easier installation. One of the shorter bolts or nuts was already stripped and couldn't be tightened or loosened. Overall, I would buy these again for their price-point and workability.
