If you have a thick mattress or use a feaher bed or thick mattress pad then these are the sheets you need! I've been searching and searching and even though Martha Stewart may have been a boss doing prison time she clearly doesn't understand what "deep pockets" are on her sheets that are advertised as such. These babies are the real deal. No issues whatsoever with the fitted sheet coming off the mattress. No having to struggle to yank the fitted sheet and break your fingers trying to get it tucked under the mattress corners. These are fabulous. Nice soft flannel. No pilling after multiple washes. Cold enough that it was time to open the package and wash these and get them on the bed today. Got the bottom sheet on (deep pocket fit was great!) but went to put the top sheet on and there is a very large tear in the sheet as you can see. Now have to put the dirty sheets back on for the night. Then have to drive 30 minutes each way to a UPS store tomorrow to return them and wait for a new set to be sent. Since I had such a hard time finding deep pocket flannel sheets, I have no choice but to reorder and pray the new set is in better condition than this set. But not feeling good that these will be worth the almost $100 we paid. Also, they seem to be one-sided flannel. *** Update: As always, Amazon's customer service was terrific and they quickly replaced the sheets for us. We are so happy with the purchase now. The sheets are heaver than I expected for sheets with the print on only one side so that was a huge positive. They are so soft and warm and we are now very happy with this purchase.
