I was a teenager in the 80s and wore a different pair of Tretorns every day to school. So when I saw the canvas ones on Amazon a few years ago, I immediately ordered a pair, and then recently ordered a replacement pair. Knowing how the canvas sizes run on my feet, a half size smaller than all other sneakers I wear, I ordered down on this pair assuming it was the brand issue. It is not. It’s apparently the canvas style issue. So buyer beware. Definitely order your true size with this shoe. It’s adorable and I will wear it proudly, just slightly uncomfortable. (I’m normally a 7.5 in almost all footwear. I ordered a 7. Could have easily worn a 7.5, maybe even an 8, if your size is out and you’re looking to size around). ... show more

Typically I dig Tretorn but this newer style is just, eh. I probably should have returned for a classic pair albeit, I really like the color/color pattern. This shoe also runs a smidge on the wide side. Laces are UNnecessarily looooong, too. :(

I wanted to like these super cute shoes but the toe fits too small. I exchanged my size 9 to try a 9 1/2 and they still hit the top of my big toenail in an uncomfortable way. Sad to send them back, the colors are amazing
