I was a teenager in the 80s and wore a different pair of Tretorns every day to school. So when I saw the canvas ones on Amazon a few years ago, I immediately ordered a pair, and then recently ordered a replacement pair. Knowing how the canvas sizes run on my feet, a half size smaller than all other sneakers I wear, I ordered down on this pair assuming it was the brand issue. It is not. It’s apparently the canvas style issue. So buyer beware. Definitely order your true size with this shoe. It’s adorable and I will wear it proudly, just slightly uncomfortable. (I’m normally a 7.5 in almost all footwear. I ordered a 7. Could have easily worn a 7.5, maybe even an 8, if your size is out and you’re looking to size around). ... show more

Looks nice. Fits true to size. Ridiculously stiff shoe. The inside black material stained all over my socks. I feel like I’m wearing old fashioned saddle shoes. Does not wear like sneakers and I wouldn’t want to go on long walks.

I have always worn Tretorn shoes and usually order directly from the Tretorn website, but these were such a good deal I decided to get them. Unfortunately, one of the shoes has always fit strange and cut into the top of my foot. I've worn them trying to break them in, but to no avail. I wonder if these were a return for that very reason that gets purchased and then resold on Amazon? I am not happy with the purchase and will not order shoes from seller/Amazon again. ... show more

Immediately out of the box the reflective material had deep creases on the toes and the tongue of the shoe. No cushion. Very stiff. Otherwise cute but not worth the price.
