I’m very impressed with the quality of the wood and how beautiful it looks. I will say assembly was a bit confusing, I had to undo and redo some parts but it’s not too bad. Have someone to help you put it together if you can but I did it alone (took a little longer). Assembly tips: make sure you align the planks so all the holes are to one side to attach the back part. I didn’t pay attention the first time around and only realized when it was time to attach the back. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. I only had one problem all together, the last piece of the shelves is missing the two holes in the middle of the board that connects it to the shelf on top of it. It still has the hole on the side of the board that connects the piece to the backboard so it still works. Once I got that screw in through the backboard and the side hole, it stayed connected, although it does wobbles a bit, my books still hold. This was easy to assemble, the directions were very clear. The whole thing fits about 31 books, but that's if you have it absolutely packed. Even though I had a minor mishap, I'm still glad I ordered this. ... show more

I really like this book case and needed it in my crafting space to hold all of my newly acquired watercolor books, coloring books, and drawing books, etc. I was running out of space. It comes in a small box - smaller than you'd think for a book shelf you have to put together, and assembly is easy (no), complicated (not exactly), required attention to detail (yeah, that's it.). I don't think there wasn't a shelf that I didn't have to unscrew and readjust in order set everything right, but it did all come together well. It is sturdy, but I do recommend anchoring it if you can, especially if you have lots of book. Also I would recommend you put your largest and heaviest at the bottom and work your way up. All in all, I'm glad to have it, and if I had more room, I'd get another. ... show more
