Alright, folks, gather 'round because I’ve found the holy grail of DIY t-shirt designs for dark colored shirts—**Iron on Heat Transfer Paper for Dark Fabric**. After many attempts at making dark personalized shirts for gifts, I can now confidently say: the search is over. I can finally design on dark shirts without ending up with a half-faded mess that looks like I printed it on a potato. First off, this paper works **great**. Like, *actually great*. I’ve tried other methods that promised "brilliant results" and ended up with a design that looked more like a crime scene than a cute t-shirt. But with this heat transfer paper, I was able to make a perfectly crisp design with vibrant colors that pop on dark fabric. And let me tell you, seeing my design come to life on the shirt was more satisfying than finding the last slice of pizza in the fridge when you thought you were out. Now, I used this paper to make a **gift**—you know, the kind of gift where you pour your heart and soul into it and then pray the recipient doesn’t pretend to love it. Well, I didn’t need to pray because this shirt turned out so well, I might have kept it for myself (but I didn’t, because I’m a generous soul and well it has someone else's face on it). It was crisp, vibrant, and, most importantly, it didn’t peel off after one wash, unlike some other products I’ve tried that left my design looking like it was written in disappearing ink. Will I buy again? Oh, *you bet*. I’ve already got a list of designs ready to go. No more struggling with fading transfers, no more awkwardly apologizing for lopsided designs. This paper has made me the DIY hero I always knew I could be. So if you’re on the hunt for a way to design on dark shirts—this is it. I have used several of these on red T-shirts and the quality is very good. They didn’t look homemade at all. When ironed, they bonded very quickly and the images were very smooth. I would give more than 5 stars if I could. I am an Artist/Designer. I have been struggling with other brands to get proper color and adhesion for dark color fabrics with transfers. This brand "TransOurDream" Tru-Heat Transfer Paper Dark 1.0 is superb in price for quantity and far exceeded the other 3-4 brands I have bought. The other brands were time consuming and the quality can't compare to this brand. They go into detail on the instructions and cover every question. They even itemize printer settings for most used printers and cutters in their instructions. I have an Epson 16500 EcoTank printer. The only thing I was not able to do was choose Paper Type/Plain and Paper Quality/Photo at the same time. I set it to Plain Paper/Bright White Paper and Quality/High. It came out beautiful. I used the Teflon sheet with dry iron (not steam) to iron onto dark red fabric. The photo above shows outcome. My HD camera has a little more red hues than the actual transfer. The Teflon sheet they include is 17 x 11 even though the sheets are 8.5 x 11 another plus extra product that other brands do not offer. I will be looking at their other products offered as well, for all my other designs. I will not be using any other brand.
