  • The item, Transcend 256GB, work with sequential and random read/write speed as specified.
This Transcend 256GB SD card works as specified. Random read/write on par with other brands, SanDisk, PNY, Samsung on the same category. The price tag of $28-$32 is right for this capacity and, probably will be in this range for a few year from the purchase year of 2021.

  • Fast enough for 100Mbit 4K and reasonably priced!
The Transcend 300S 256GB SDXC card writes at ~50MB/sec and reads at ~80MB/sec in the internal reader in my HP Elitebook according to CDM (see included image). The card is reasonably priced. I have no issue with 100Mbit 4K recording in my Sony RX100 VII with it. Overall, it's a very solid SD card option with performance on par with comparably rated but more expensive cards from some of the more well known brands. ... show more

  • Can’t keep up with my camera
My camera would shut off after 12 minutes and I figured out this card can’t keep up with the writing speed of my camera even though it is advertised as such. I had to change the size of the recording in order to get a 30 minute recording time.
