I bought this product off the sizing chart. It should that a 2xl would fit me even though my shirts are size Large-Xlarge. At first yes you have to stretch a tad to get it on. after wearing it on the very first clasp (the biggest it would hold which i was fine with, meaning i had two smaller clasps to work toward) for not even ten minutes it did not feel snug anymore. so i had to go to the middle clasp. The next day i put it on and i can put it on the first clasp the smallest it would go. just wearing it makes it more stretchy and very loose. now i cannot wear this anymore and have no use for it. a waste of money when i could have just got the size xlarge or even large if all of them work this way in the first place. ... show more

The 3 straps are very convenient because you can strap them at different lengths like for ribs and hips a little wider because those areas are bigger than waist area. I love the versatility of this waist trainer , literally one of my favorites because it’s so secure , has a corset on it even if I don’t want to work out I can wear it for Back support and corset training , I wear this baby to gym all the time. I read many customer reviews before purchasing and was skeptical about the sizing. I was mentally prepared to send back and reord another size. Despite what I read, I ordered my true size, medium, and it fits well. I say that because I was able to clasp to the 3rd row on the outer & top strap and the 1st row on the bottom strap. It's snug without being constricting. This is perfect for me since the lower abdomen is my trouble spot and I have 2 more rows available. The intent of this product, I believe is to be able to lose enough inches to be able clasp the 3rd row everywhere. I have no doubt I will be able to do that and still use the item for inch loss. Now on to the product. I love the support for my lower back. That's the first thing I noticed. My posture improved when I out it on. It's snug but not too tight. It doesn't smell, cause any pain and I can breath normally. I am going to wear it for the day to see how it feels but I'm not sure I will wear it all the time like other customers. I bought it specifically for working out. I can bend over and in all directions with no issues. It doesn't ride up or shift when stretching or doing ab work. I am very happy with the purchase.
