  • 4.0 out of 5 stars Broken piece
Piece #9 split when putting together. Would like to have that piece resent but I cannot find where to send questions

  • 5.0 out of 5 stars not the easiest assembly, but not that bad.
I put this together while watching Gossip Girl. It's not as difficult as some reviews make it out to be. I do think you need a drill to assemble because some of the holes are drilled, but when you attach pieces to the frame, those holes may not be drilled. It makes sense because of variations in wood and needing parts to line up, so I can see that if you drilled something in the wrong place, that would be tricky, but if you follow the instructions and make sure things aren't out of place as you go, it's not that bad. As completed, it is very sturdy and my daughter loves it. I like the chalkboard feature across the top. I had some chalkboard markers and put my daughter's name there. It looks like it will last a long time and it is big enough for more than one child to play. I love that it goes outside. We have it on our screened porch. ... show more

  • 5.0 out of 5 stars directions are a little lacking, very flimsy
hold onto the box, you will need that picture to assemble this. I reccomend placing that center board close enough to hold the blue tub soundly. Mine is just barely catching. It did take a couple hours to assemble. Do not use any power tools, you will split the boards. I purchased an open package, so I got an excellent deal. The full retail value for this item is not worth it. I did not have time to construct one, so for the money this will get me buy until I do. It will probably not hold up for more than a couple years, and definitely can not handle children using it for a climbing structure. The instructions are all metric. Good luck for anyone in the United States. I pulled out the kids school rulers and just guessed alot. It hasn't fallen apart yet. ... show more

  • 5.0 out of 5 stars Holds up very well!
The media could not be loaded. We have had this outdoor kitchen for a year now in his fort. A year! It looks brand new, the black has not faded, the wood has not splintered or cracked. Gets rained on, sunshine, it’s just perfect.

  • 4.0 out of 5 stars Instructions in mm, still turned out looking great!
Instructions are in mm but completely doable. With proper planning and layout, one person can put it together if you have clamps. I had my husband help me. Just following the instructions step by step, took us about 3hrs to put together. Power drill recommended! Girls ages 3 and 6 even pitched in to help tighten screws. Good family fun, only called my husband the adult term for a butt sphincter once lol. If you knew us, you know that's an improvement. Last time we put anything together was 9 years ago and it nearly ended in divorce. Ever since, I buy it and leave for him to put together without me. Something about following the instructions is optional for him. However, follow the directions on this, and it will go by fast. ... show more

  • 4.0 out of 5 stars Two hour assembly
If you're anything like me, you will cuss at some point in the 2 hr duration it takes to put this together. I had to eyeball some of the components because I was not about to find a metric ruler. I wouldn't even have attempted this without an electric drill. But I did it by myself with little prior experience and I came out alright. My 4 yr old loves collecting nature items in the bin to "cook" with. ... show more

  • 5.0 out of 5 stars Get outdoor kids toy!
We live in a desert, so anytime you can find something that support water play without a bunch of repetitive setup it is a win. The kiddos love "cooking" and a toy pot and pan set has made this the toy of choice on a hot day!

  • 3.0 out of 5 stars Rough to put together, not as sturdy as I’d like…
Construction was a little rough to put together, there were no pilot holes for the side slats. So one to many turns and the wood cracks! However, the size is perfect for two kiddos to play and I like the layout of the kitchen with the storage :)
